Royal Welsh Regimental Tie
The Royal Welsh is Wales's senior line infantry regiment, formed in 2006 from the amalgamation of the Royal Welch Fusiliers and the Royal Regiment of Wales. Between them, those two regiments carried a combined lineage stretching back to 1689 — through Blenheim, Waterloo, Gallipoli, Arnhem and the Falklands. Today the Royal Welsh continues that tradition, having served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and remains one of the most decorated regiments in the British Army. The Red Dragon and the Prince of Wales's feathers are worn with the fierce pride that Welsh soldiers have always brought to the battlefield.
