The Rifles story
Formed in 2007 through the amalgamation of four distinguished light infantry and rifle regiments, The Rifles carry forward a tradition of marksmanship, fieldcraft, speed and independent action. The regiment has served in Afghanistan, Iraq and operations around the world.

The badge features the bugle horn, a long-standing symbol of the rifle and light infantry tradition, beneath the King's Crown and a scroll bearing The Rifles. The King’s Crown version reflects service during the reign of King Charles III.
