The Parachute Regiment Regimental Tie
The Parachute Regiment was formed in 1942 at Churchill's personal direction, built from the toughest soldiers the British Army could find and trained to fight in the most demanding conditions imaginable.
From Arnhem — where 1st Airborne Division held out for nine days against overwhelming odds in one of the most heroic last stands in British military history — to the Falklands, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Afghanistan, the Parachute Regiment has been at the sharp end of every major British operation for over eight decades.
The maroon beret is earned through P Company, one of the most gruelling selection courses in the world, and worn only by those who have proved they belong. Three battalions, one standard: Utrinque Paratus — Ready for Anything.
This regimental tie carries the maroon and the Pegasus with the quiet authority that only those who've earned the right to wear them truly understand.
