Royal Anglian Regiment Regimental Tie
The Royal Anglian Regiment is the county regiment of East Anglia, formed in 1964 from the amalgamation of the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment, the Essex Regiment, the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, the Northamptonshire Regiment, the Royal Norfolk Regiment, and the Suffolk Regiment. Drawing on a combined lineage stretching back to the 17th century, the Royal Anglians have served in Aden, Northern Ireland, the Falklands, Iraq and Afghanistan — earning a reputation as one of the British Army's most battle-hardened infantry regiments.
