HMS Spartan was a nuclear-powered fleet submarine of the Royal Navy's Swiftsure class. Spartan was launched on 7 April 1978 by Lady Lygo, wife of Admiral Sir Raymond Lygo. The boat was built by Vickers Limited Shipbuilding Group (now a division of BAE Systems) at Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, England. She was decommissioned in January 2006, and saw service in the Falklands War.
This stylish piece of wall art is precision laser cut from 2mm steel and powder coated to a satin black finish. This provides a durable rust resistant finish so it can be displayed indoors or out. The piece stands away from the wall by 16mm giving an elegant 3D look which casts a silhouette on the wall. Mounting instructions and wall fixings are supplied.
The wall art comes in 3 different sizes, is made to order for you in the UK, and you can expect the product to be dispatched within 14 days, plus postage time. We also ship to most destinations.
