Black Watch Cap Badge Display Frame

A distinguished tribute to the Black Watch, this handcrafted display frame features a detailed three-dimensional reproduction of the regiment's cap badge in authentic Black Watch colours. Made to order in the United Kingdom and ready to hang, it is a meaningful piece of Scottish military heritage for veterans, serving soldiers and collectors.

From the Black Watch to 3 SCOTS

Raised from independent Highland companies in 1725 and formally established as a regiment in 1739, the Black Watch took its name from the dark government tartan worn by its soldiers. Its long service includes Fontenoy, Waterloo, the Boer War, both World Wars, Korea, Iraq and other campaigns. Today, the Black Watch serves as the 3rd Battalion, Royal Regiment of Scotland.

About the badge

The badge features the Star of the Order of the Thistle, Scotland's highest order of chivalry, with the Sphinx above the word Egypt. The Sphinx commemorates the regiment's distinguished service during the Egyptian campaign of 1801 and remains one of the Black Watch's most recognisable symbols.
