History.
The M4A3E8 "Fury" tank, famously featured in the 2014 film *Fury*, was a variant of the American M4 Sherman tank used during World War II. Nicknamed the "Easy Eight" due to its smooth HVSS (Horizontal Volute Spring Suspension) system, it offered improved ride quality and stability over earlier Sherman models. Powered by a Ford GAA V8 engine, it boasted a 76mm M1A2 gun, giving it superior firepower compared to its predecessors. Introduced in late 1944, the M4A3E8 was instrumental in the European Theatre, particularly during the Allied advance into Germany.
Its role in the film *Fury* highlights the challenges tank crews faced, portraying the durability, firepower, and hardships of this iconic vehicle during the war.
