The 16th/5th The Queen's Royal Lancers were one of Britain's most formidable armoured regiments. Formed in 1922 from the amalgamation of two distinguished cavalry regiments, they went on to distinguish themselves across some of the Second World War's most gruelling campaigns — the Battle of Kasserine Pass, the Siege of Tunis, and the legendary Battle of Monte Cassino — before the regiment was finally stood down in 1993 after over seven decades of proud service.
This three-fold silk reppe tie carries their regimental colours with the understated distinction that only a Benson & Clegg tie can deliver. Crafted in London by one of Britain's most celebrated military tie makers — holders of a Royal Warrant — it is a fitting tribute to a regiment that gave everything.
