The 1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione (often called "Evo") is a legendary model in the world of rally and sports cars. It was developed as a homologation special for Lancia’s rally team in the World Rally Championship (WRC), building on the success of previous Delta Integrale versions. The 1991 Evo featured significant mechanical and aesthetic upgrades. Its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine produced 210 horsepower, paired with an advanced all-wheel-drive system, giving it formidable performance on both road and rally stages.
The Evo was wider and more aggressive than its predecessors, with flared wheel arches, a redesigned suspension for better handling, and improved aerodynamics. These changes were crucial in maintaining Lancia’s dominance in the WRC, where they secured a record-breaking sixth consecutive Constructors' Championship in 1992.
